Maffra Football Netball Club is pleased to announce another signing for the 2023 season.
We welcome Bradyen Monk to our football fraternity.
Brayden is a skilled player with a superb kick. He can play as both an inside or outside midfielder, and has also carried out roles as a distributor across half-back, previously described as a dashing defender with explosive speed and dare.
The 26-year-old joins MFNC from Williamstown in the VFL competition.
In 2022, he averaged 17 disposals across his 15 games for the Seagulls, and he was named in the best on six occasions.
He began the year as a half-back, but moved to the midfield where, from round 10-17, he averaged 24 touches and 5 marks per game before a knee injury brought his season to a premature end.
Originally from the Werribee Districts, Brayden played for the Western Jets in the TAC Cup, where he won the club’s Best & Fairest medal in his senior year.
Welcome to the Red & Black Brayden!
